Eidsfoss 23 Mars 2023 kl 19.00

Detaljert informasjon

Installasjoner

The rose from outer space (Maria Zegna med Norte y sør collective)

Osmosonic study No 1 (Bruno Mesz med Norte y sør collective)

H(2)OT and/or cold || Attack & release (A. Barth og E. Fooladi med Norte y sør collective)

Detailed information

Installations

The rose from outer space (Maria Zegna with Norte y sør collective)

A perfumed video installation on the alchemical interaction between the inner and outer world. Perfume, movement and sounds are ethereal and ephemeral materialities, manifested in the traces left by bodies.

Osmosonic study No 1 (Bruno Mesz with Norte y sør collective)

A sono-olfactory installation that investigates if and how olfactory atmospheres modulate the musical experience.

Rothko rooms (Bruno Mesz with Norte y sør collective)

A sono-olfactory installation. A sonic and olfactory atmosphere containing a contrasting sonic and olfactory micro-atmosphere, a kind of sensory Mamushkas.

Live performances

Epifanía number 7 (Maria Zegna with Norte y sør collective)

A multi-art performance on the sharing of sensory memories and emotions, substances and objects, incarnating remembrance and feeling. Different materialities are accumulated, as sediments of a concert in Norway shared with Norte y sør, Mari Sandell, Anu Hopia, Per and Irene Moneeo: performative actions, musical and choreographic gestures, relics of the event (costumes, shoes, aromas, scores, notes). “That day, in the concert, I experienced an epiphany: I understood that spaces are alive”.

Caminata (Maria Zegna)

An embodiment and video performance where I bow my head towards the earth creating a corporeality as a memory of my ancestor sheepherder, tiller of the land, and her mule.

H(2)OT and/or cold // Attack & release (A. Barth & E. Fooladi with Norte y sør collective)

A natural sound and music performance in dialogue with dance in three movements. When you pour a cup of water most people can by the mere sound of pouring identify if the water is hot or cold. Although we know that hot water sounds differently from cold, and we know a bit about how it sounds differently, we do not know exactly why it does so. It is a paradox that we as humans have acquired much scientific knowledge and made great technological progress, yet we do not know why pouring a cup of cold water sounds differently from a hot one.
